Principal SAP BTP Enterprise Applications Consultant

Overview

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP BTP Enterprise Applications Consultant
. You will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, identify areas of improvement, evaluate the solution options and make recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

• Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Communicate effectively with the team technically. Guide the team on completing complex developments.
• Convert functional requirements into Fiori UI5 technical solutions and guide the team.
• Participate in accessibility requirements (keyboard navigations, tabs, etc.).
• Automation unit and integration testing using QUnit, OPA5, Mock Server; create frameworks on top of UI5 SMART controls.
• Work on charts (UI5, D3), maps (Geo & Analytical Maps); integration of RESTful Web API services; performance analysis.
• Collect requirements for user interface research and recommend processes, services, software and other tools to support business objectives for user interfaces and infrastructure technologies.
• Collaborate with customers, product owners, UX designers and usability experts to present compelling user experiences.
• Adhere to an Agile Delivery Model with exposure to Dev Ops; SAP Fiori/UI5 & responsive design architecture.
• Know SAP Fiori UI5 JavaScript and build Fiori Apps based on UI5 and JavaScript; understand Model-View-Controller (MVC).
• Exposure to Smart templates / Fiori Elements, Fiori Theme Building; SAP UI5 certifications is a plus.
• Communicate effectively with juniors and work with teams in other geographies.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Location for this position is Austin, TX. This position may require travel and/or relocation.

• Preferred Qualifications
• At least 11 years of experience in SAP UI5/FIORI.
• Should be able to communicate effectively with team technically. Guide team on completing complex developments.
• Should be able to convert functional requirement into Fiori UI5 technical solution and guide the team.
• Worked on accessibility requirements like keyboard navigations and JAWS; experience with accessibility testing.
• Experience with automation testing and UI5 frameworks.
• Experience with charts (UI5, D3), maps, and integration of RESTful services; performance analysis.
• Good knowledge and exposure to Agile Delivery Model; exposure to Dev Ops.
• Good communication skills and effective collaboration with junior team members.
• Able to work and connect with teams in other geographies.
