We are seeking a Sr Technical Business Analyst for a Hybrid position (must go into the office when requested) in Austin, Texas, looking for local candidates. We can work with C2

The project is a strategic initiative to consolidate IT resources currently embedded across various departments into a unified IT division. This effort aims to strengthen IT governance, improve user access and security, and enhance visibility and operational reporting across the enterprise. The project includes evaluating current IT roles and reporting structures, conducting position classification reviews, aligning personnel with an optimized organizational model, and inventorying IT systems and projects to support business prioritization and alignment with enterprise objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and facilitate requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and workshops to capture business needs and system requirements.
- Analyze business processes, data flows, and system dependencies to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure solutions align with business goals and technical standards.
- Support testing, validation, and user acceptance to confirm that implemented solutions meet defined requirements.
- Maintain documentation for requirements, workflows, and data mappings, ensuring traceability and compliance with governance standards.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT throughout the project lifecycle, supporting Agile and/or SDLC methodologies.
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 4 years in a technical or enterprise systems environment.
- Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements for complex IT systems or integrations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with SaaS/COTS software implementations or data migration/integration projects.
- Familiarity with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Confluence).
- Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum Master preferred.
- Strategic thinker who can connect business goals with technical execution.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
