We're looking for an exceptional Content Engineer to play a key role in architecting and building the next generation of our technical enablement and certification program. You'll be employing innovative content models, emerging GenAI technologies, and API-driven delivery to prepare our technical partners for certification.

Description

In this role, you'll be a primary architect of our technical enablement content. Your mission is to leverage source materials from documentation, subject matter experts, and engineering teams and transform them into flexible and scalable deliverables.

You'll focus on the following key areas:

Content Architecture & Modeling:

- Design and implement structured content models for all technical enablement assets, including learning objectives, conceptual modules, procedures, and interactive assessments.

- Develop and manage content schemas, taxonomies, and metadata frameworks to facilitate a personalized learning path, efficient content retrieval, and certification governance.

- Apply structured content models to deconstruct and transform existing source materials into modular segments for dynamic deliverables.

Systems Integration & Workflow Automation:

- Integrate content with our core delivery platforms to provide dynamic and intelligent content experiences.

- Establish content quality and consistency through standards, validation rules, and automation of content transformation and delivery pipelines.

- Use scripting and command-line tools to build, maintain, and optimize content publishing and automation processes.

- Design and facilitate the technical workflow for localization, partnering with vendors and internal teams to ensure efficient, scalable translation.

Collaboration & Support:

- Collaborate with content strategists, subject matter experts, engineering teams, and program managers to build, manage, and improve our content systems, authoring tools, and publishing pipelines.

- Act as key technical partner for our content team, training them on structured authoring and content modeling best practices.

- Partner with our AI-strategy teams to prepare and structure learning assets for adaptive learning and personalized study experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Design a scalable, component-based multi-channel content ecosystem that delivers precise, personalized, and dynamic learning experiences for professionals who deploy and support Apple platforms at scale.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-functional partners in content strategy, subject matter expertise, and technical engineering to integrate an intelligent content framework that enhances our enablement offerings and assessment capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in content engineering, information architecture, or a similar technical role.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing component-based content models and schemas.
  • Deep understanding of taxonomy and metadata management principles.
  • Experience with API-driven content delivery, proficiency with command-line interfaces, and familiarity with modern learning technology stacks.
  • Excellent communication skills and technical literacy, with the ability to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Proven ability to translate complex learning objectives and technical source material into structured content models and repositories.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and passion for high-quality user experiences.
  • BS in Computer Science, Technical Communication, Information Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in content engineering, information architecture, or a similar technical role.
