ASSYST is seeking a skilled RSA Archer Specialist to support our client in Austin, TX. The position is fully onsite in Austin, Texas
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced RSA Archer Specialist to design, implement, and support enterprise RSA Archer Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions. The role will support risk management, assessment & authorization, controls assurance, issue management, and continuous compliance monitoring initiatives across the organization. This position works independently on complex assignments while collaborating with Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant GRC implementations.

- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise RSA Archer applications (A&A, Controls Assurance, Issues Management).
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical configurations and solution designs.
- Customize Archer forms, workflows, questionnaires, access controls, and data integrations.
- Develop REST API integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., Service Now, ITSM, CMDB platforms).
- Implement client-side scripting using JavaScript and jQuery.
- Support compliance initiatives aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC, and regulatory frameworks.
- Provide troubleshooting, performance optimization, documentation, and user training.
- Follow change management and release governance processes.
- Archer Certified Professional (ACP)
OR - Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator – Expert Certification
- Strong expertise in RSA Archer platform architecture and configuration.
- Experience in GRC, risk management, and compliance programs.
- Experience integrating Archer with enterprise systems using REST APIs.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/jQuery.
- Ability to manage complex implementations independently.
- Experience in large enterprise or government environments.
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC, and regulatory compliance programs.
- Experience integrating Archer with Service Now or similar ITSM tools.
