We are looking for an experienced Engagement Manager/Assistant Vice President t to lead initiatives aimed at growing our client base and deepening our engagements with existing automotive Industry clients. This role requires a dynamic individual who has deep expertise and experience in implementing analytics and AI solutions, can leverage industry expertise, foster relationships, and drive revenue growth in line with the organization’s strategic priorities.
- Interact regularly with clients to understand business requirements, define analytical problems, structure and communicate solutions and ensure client satisfaction with strong business driving results
- Strong hands‑on expertise in data engineering and data management leading large‑scale delivery teams
- Primary day‑to‑day client contact point and often interact with C‑level executives.
- Primary client day‑to‑day contact & ensure client needs are well understood, defined & met
- Serves as the primary interface between senior client management and EXL senior leadership (VPs and SVPs)
- Accountable for delivery governance, ensuring projects are executed effectively and successfully across teams with different team structures and service delivery models. Responsible for driving revenue generating from these accounts
- Oversight of the execution of the project, with on‑time delivery every time, ensuring all project goals are met
- Manages team members, including definition of objectives, oversight of execution and evaluation of performance
- Provides thought leadership and delivers business insights to identify and resolve complex issues critical to their clients' success
- Actively contributes to business development and to attracting, retaining, developing, and motivating a team of diverse and qualified staff
- Manages communication between senior EXL partners and clients to update project progress and solicit feedback on project deliverables
- Working closely with BU leaders in the account development planning process to maximize the growth potential
- Developing a deep understanding of EXL's capabilities in Data, Analytics, Digital Operations and Solutions, and working with the relevant SMEs to help drive growth
- Create awareness of EXL expertise and capabilities among the external community; participate in key industry forums, including presenting topics relevant to senior management
- Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
- 8+ years of experience comprising analytics service delivery, consulting, solution design and client management
- Track record as client partner in rapidly growing relationships
- Experience in delivering analytics/consulting services
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Wide variety of technology and business consulting engagement experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of AI / ML concepts, promise of Generative AI and other digital transformation solutions.
- Experience collaborating with large, multi‑location teams in a matrix structure
- Experience in automotive industry is a plus but not required
