Solution Consulting Director

We are looking for a presales Solution Consulting Director who enjoys leading teams and solving business problems with enterprise software solutions.
As a core Solution Consulting Director, you will join our presales organization as a 2nd line leader responsible for our teams aligned to Enterprise, Canada, Retail and Consumer Goods industries. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with a strong background in SaaS and Enterprise sales, a deep understanding of business planning and performance management, and a proven track record of leading high-performing presales teams in complex selling environments.

- Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Solution Consulting Managers and Solution Consultants, ensuring continuous professional growth and skills development. - Strategy:
Develop and implement strategies that align with sales objectives, Anaplan product capabilities, and customer needs. - Sales Partnership:
Partner closely with sales leaders to manage the business, shape account strategy, influence deal strategy, and drive value-based selling approaches tailored to large organizations. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Professional Services teams to align presales efforts with product innovation and customer success initiatives. - Customer Engagement:
Oversee and lead strategic customer meetings with your team showcasing Anaplan’s ability to solve complex business problems across finance, supply chain, and other planning domains. - Executive Alignment:
Cultivate strong relationships with senior customer leaders and act as a trusted advisor during the sales cycle. - Thought Leadership:
Stay ahead of market trends and Anaplan innovations, serving as a subject matter expert and evangelist for AI and connected planning.
- 10+ years of experience leading presales, solution consulting, or technical sales roles in a SaaS or enterprise software environment in both 1st and 2nd line roles.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and methodologies such as Value Selling, MEDDICC, or Solution Selling.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise planning processes and solutions in the finance, supply chain, workforce, or sales domains.
- Knowledge of enterprise AI platforms, GenAI, Agentic AI, and machine learning.
- Proven track record of building relationships with CxO or VP customer leaders.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in front of customer executives and large audiences at industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field (MBA).
