We are seeking an experienced ERP Developer – People Soft for an on‑site contract in Austin, TX.
ResponsibilitiesThe ERP Developer will perform advanced People Soft systems analysis and programming duties focused on Benefits and Pension Administration. This includes extensive data research, creating data mapping rules, analyzing user requirements, automating processes, enhancing existing systems, integrating People Soft with third‑party applications using web services, and writing complex programs in SQR, Application Engine, and People Code. The role involves designing and developing People Soft pages and components, preparing technical design documents, providing guidance during implementation, and collaborating with ETL developers, testers, business analysts, and users to define data mapping rules.
The ERP Developer will also demonstrate developed functionality, suggest technical solutions to improve business processes, and ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures.
- 6+ years of experience with People Soft People Tools development
- 3+ years of experience with People Soft Benefits Administration and Pension Administration
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL for Oracle databases
- 3+ years of experience writing SQR programs and People Code
- 2+ years of experience with People Soft Application Engine programming
- 1+ year of experience with People Soft XML Publisher reporting
- Experience integrating People Soft with other People Soft and third‑party applications using web services
