Akkodis is seeking an AWS SRE Dev Ops Engineer for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX (Hybrid). Candidate must have strong capability in AWS‑based Dev Ops and SRE engineering to be considered for this position.
Rate Range$54/hour to $56/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AWS SRE Dev Ops EngineerJob Responsibilities Include
- Managing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, and IaC‑based deployments for scalable system operations.
- Building, enhancing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub, and related automation tools to support secure and reliable deployments.
- Monitoring system health through Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK while driving proactive issue detection and real‑time operational insights.
- Troubleshooting production incidents, performing root‑cause analysis, and ensuring rapid recovery to maintain high‑availability environments.
- Collaborating with development and cross‑functional teams to integrate deployment strategies, improve performance, and strengthen system security.
- Conducting system tests for performance, availability, and security while continuously refining Dev Ops best practices across environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in AWS Dev Ops and SRE engineering.
- Candidate must have strong expertise in AWS cloud operations, Kubernetes/EKS management, and CI/CD automation with tools such as Jenkins and Git.
- Candidate must have proven capability in monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar observability tools.

Pay Details$54.00 to $56.00 per hour
