Lab Technician - Intermediate

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in hardware and system solutions, is seeking a Lab Technician - Intermediate (US) to join their team. As a Lab Technician - Intermediate (US), you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting the development and testing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem‑solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician - Intermediate (US)

Location: Austin, TX

• Reproduce issues and assist engineers in debugging to identify root causes
• Configure and operate test equipment such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers
• Assemble, configure, and maintain customer prototype platforms and AMD systems under test
• Create, follow, and improve setup and configuration documentation
• Coordinate with lab management to organize inventories, licensing, and equipment deployment

• Associate degree or higher in engineering technology or equivalent work experience
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug electronics issues effectively
• Proficiency in soldering SMT and fine‑pitch components
• At least 5 years of related experience in hardware electronics and system configuration
• Experience with server, workstation, and PC setup, including Windows and Linux system administration
