What you’ll achieve:You will be responsible for understanding the data needs of the Services business and building solutions that support strategic initiatives, enabling reporting, forecasting, and executive decision-making.
You will:- Engage with stakeholders to understand and translate data requirements into technical solutions.
- Build, maintain, and optimize structured and unstructured data pipelines and tables.
- Work with large datasets from systems such as Salesforce, Teradata, and Data Lake.
- Develop data products for dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reporting.
- Collaborate with data science and IT teams to ensure data quality, governance, and scalability.
Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
, with strong software engineering fundamentals (object-oriented design, version control, testing). - Experience designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines in enterprise data platforms (e.g., Teradata, data lakes) to support AI workloads.
- Hands-on experience working with structured and unstructured data (e.g., text, logs, telemetry) including data modeling and performance tuning.
- Experience partnering with Data Science teams to prepare high-quality datasets for advanced analytics, ML, or Gen AI use cases.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, executive-driven environment;
on-site 5 days/week in Austin, Texas. - Knowledge of Apache Spark, pyspark Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, git for large-scale data processing.
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $121,800 – $158,750.
