Required Skills
  • 4+yrs of experience responding to and resolving operational support tickets with limited supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize, elevate, document, and communicate issue resolution status effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with vendors to diagnose and resolve SQL performance issues, including analysis of nightly process runtimes.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business unit requests into actionable technical tasks and maintain enhancement tracking aligned with business goals.
  • Experience leading or coordinating server migrations, firewall rule changes, penetration testing, and deployment activities.
  • Experience preparing CAB documentation and managing release and deployment logistics.
  • Strong documentation skills, including development of job aids, training materials, and operational procedures.
  • Technical and Modernization Skills – 4+ years of experience supporting or leading Java based applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience working with workflow, rules, or business process automation solutions, including support for evaluation or transition from proprietary platforms to alternative solutions.
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git Hub or similar tools to support collaborative development, code reviews, and release coordination.
  • Experience leveraging modern development productivity tools, including AI assisted or automated tools, to support code development, testing, documentation, or analysis.
  • Working knowledge of relational database platforms, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting application modernization or technology refresh initiatives in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with open source frameworks or platforms used within Java based solutions.
  • Experience working in environments utilizing Dev Ops or CI/CD practices to support application releases.
  • Strong collaboration skills when working with business stakeholders to translate operational workflows into technical requirements.
  • Experience supporting large, business critical systems with operational, performance, and reliability requirements.
  • On site collaboration experience with ROW or similar business units.
Responsibilities and Skills

The Project Lead II will support the RULIS application and be responsible for a range of tasks aligned with their qualifications and the operational needs of the business unit.

  • With 4–7 years of experience, the resource is expected to operate with initiative and independent judgment under limited supervision.
  • Core responsibilities include managing operational support tickets, ensuring timely resolution, and coordinating with stakeholders on issue status and hotfix deployments.
  • The resource will troubleshoot SQL database issues in collaboration with vendors, investigate performance concerns such as extended runtimes of nightly processes, and recommend optimization strategies.
  • The role serves as the primary liaison for business unit requests, translating business needs into actionable technical tasks and tracking enhancement ideas.
  • The resource will collaborate closely with the ROW division to identify service improvement opportunities and contribute to steering committee discussions related to latency, server migration, customer service metrics, and system enhancements.
  • Technical coordination responsibilities include leading server migration activities, coordinating firewall rule changes, scheduling penetration testing, preparing CAB documentation, managing soft launches, and monitoring post‑deployment performance.
