Technical Support
My client is building the infrastructure that secures how Private Equity and Fund Admins move money. Identity verification. Transaction transparency. Fraud prevention, not fraud detection. The financial plumbing that sits at the bedrock of the economy and they are transforming how it works. Every dollar that moves through their platform is a token of trust. Your job is to make sure that trust is earned every single time.
You will work directly with the Head of Product and Head of Engineering, not reporting up through layers, but at the table where decisions are made. They are not looking for someone great at finding bugs. They want someone who deeply understands the product, the customers, and what the company is trying to accomplish, and uses that understanding to make everything they ship genuinely excellent.
This role is for the technical problem-solver who enjoys digging into code and logs to find out why something is breaking. You will sit at the intersection of the customer and the engineering team, ensuring complex issues are resolved with precision.
What You Will Own- Product quality, end-to-end:
From API contracts to pixel-perfect UI, from transaction workflows to third-party integrations, if a customer touches it, you have validated it. This platform moves real money through real banks. You ensure every transaction, every identity verification, and every account linkage works as it should, because "mostly works" is not an accepted standard. - The human side of the product:
You will be the voice that asks what this feels like for the person using it. The edge case no one considered. The flow that technically works but does not feel right. The moment where confidence erodes. - L2 Technical Troubleshooting:
Investigate and resolve escalated inbound support inquiries by performing deep-dive debugging, log analysis, and database queries to identify root causes. - Customer Communication:
Manage high-stakes technical interactions via email and support platforms, translating complex technical solutions into clear, actionable guidance for customers. - Technical Documentation:
Escalate verified bugs to the engineering team, providing reproducible test cases, environment details, and initial findings to expedite resolution.
- You are obsessed with detail but know how to prioritize ruthlessly. You see the forest and the trees.
- You have built or significantly improved a QA practice before. You do not need a playbook handed to you. You write the playbook.
- You are technically fluent, comfortable navigating codebases, tracing integrations, and holding your own with engineers.
- You are excited about AI as leverage, not threatened by it. You recognize a generational shift and want to help define what is possible.
- You solve problems because you cannot help it. Broken things bother you. You do not just want to see them fixed. You want to know why they were wrong in the first place.
- You have passionate side hobbies that fuel your curiosity and creativity, and you bring that same intensity to QA, treating it as a deeply personal and professional craft. Quality is not just your job. It is your reputation.
- 3 or more years in QA engineering with both manual and automated testing experience
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end testing frameworks and API testing
- Experience with or strong interest in applying AI and LLM tooling for testing, automation, and quality workflows
- Experience in fintech, banking, or any domain where data integrity and security are non-negotiable, or the hunger to learn it fast
- Comfort working with a small team where ownership is high, and hand-holding is low
- Bonus: experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-level testing, or security and compliance testing
