We push the limits of innovation to solve the world’s most important challenges—striving for execution excellence, while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives. Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond.

THE ROLE:

As a Manager of M&A Integration, you will be part of AMD’s Corporate Development organization, helping shape the future of the company by ensuring newly acquired businesses integrate smoothly and successfully. You’ll work at the center of AMD’s most strategic growth initiatives, partnering with leaders across our Business Units and Engineering organizations to translate deal objectives into real‑world outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to learn the full M&A lifecycle, influence cross‑functional decision‑making, and help build scalable integration capabilities in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment.

You’ll gain exposure to senior leadership, collaborate with teams across the company, and play a critical role in delivering the value behind AMD’s acquisitions.

THE PERSON:

You thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments and enjoy bringing structure to complex, cross‑functional initiatives. You are a relationship builder who can influence without authority, communicate clearly, and navigate ambiguity with confidence. You balance analytical rigor with strong interpersonal skills, and you’re energized by solving problems, driving alignment, and helping teams execute with excellence. You take ownership, embrace feedback, and are motivated by delivering high‑impact results.

At AMD, you'll drive integrations across our core Business Units:
Artificial Intelligence Group (AIG), Adaptive & Embedded Group (AECG), Data Center Solutions Group (DSG), Computing & Graphics (CG). And our engineering Teams:
Technology & Engineering (T&E), GPU Technologies & Engineering (G&E).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with AMD leaders, deal sponsors, and acquired company executives to guide end‑to‑end integration efforts and ensure alignment with strategic deal objectives.
  • Support the full M&A integration lifecycle—from due diligence through post‑close execution—by identifying risks, developing integration plans, and tracking progress against key milestones.
  • Manage workstream activities, ensuring transparency, timely updates, and proactive issue resolution across cross‑functional teams.
  • Work closely with core cross‑functional partners to facilitate smooth integrations, including Human Resources, Communications, Finance, Tax & Treasury, Legal & Compliance, Information Technology, Procurement, Corporate Marketing, Sales & GTM, Product & Engineering, Customer Engineering & Services, Manufacturing & Operations.
  • Build and maintain integration tools, including Smartsheet trackers, scorecards, templates, and playbooks, to support consistent reporting and execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and refining AMD’s integration frameworks and best practices.
  • Participate in broader corporate development activities such as market analysis, target evaluation, and support for deal structuring and valuation.
  • Drive strategic thinking and problem‑solving across diverse teams to remove roadblocks and ensure successful outcomes.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in M&A integration, post‑merger integration, corporate development, consulting, or program/project management within technology, semiconductor, or high‑growth environments.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and build strong working relationships.
  • Strong program management capabilities, including developing frameworks, deliverables, and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills,…
