Job Details PurposeSeeking a systems specialist with deep familiarity and knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments, along with Windows Server and typical application support. The role will design, implement, and maintain central IT infrastructure and applications.
Responsibilities- Ongoing routine technical maintenance (systems/applications).
- Capacity planning, upgrades, forecasting.
- Direct end‑user support.
- Administrative support to satisfy contractual requirements.
- Weekly activity report.
- Other related functions as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least three years of experience supporting virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox/KVM) with Linux and Windows servers, identity management technologies (LDAP, Active Directory, 2FA, smart cards), databases (MS SQL, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle), and web server software (NGINX, Apache, IIS).
- Must obtain a DoD 8570.1/8140 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA CySA+ or Security+) within six months of hire.
- Systems automation experience (Puppet, Salt, Ansible, Chef, CFEngine, or scripting in any language).
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
- Ten years administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Debian, or Ubuntu systems.
- Ten years administering Microsoft Windows Server products and Active Directory Domain Controllers, with Python, Bash, Perl, Power Shell scripting, and C/C++ programming.
- Java programming experience.
- Cisco networking experience.
- Eligibility for immediate access to classified information.
An agency designated by the federal government handles the investigation for eligibility to access classified information. Factors considered include allegiance to the United States, foreign influence, criminal conduct, security violations, drug involvement, etc.

$120,000 – $150,000+ (negotiable depending on qualifications)
