As a Customer Experience AI Engineer, you sit at the intersection of customers, AI systems, and product value. You operationalize AI agents and AI tooling that help customers realize value faster, resolve issues automatically, investigate fraud at scale, and run complex workflows with minimal human intervention. You are part of the Customer Experience and Success team, with a direct mandate to improve retention, expansion, and customer outcomes through intelligent automation.
What You’ll Do:Automate Support: Build and deploy AI agents to handle 50% of customer inquiries in Year 1.
Customer-centered AI Agents: Design, build, and deploy AI agents that support customer workflows including fraud investigations, user analysis, reporting, and operational support.
AI Reporting & Insights: Build self-writing reports that analyze data and prove ROI to customers automatically.
Drive Integration: Work directly with customers to integrate Verisoul. Learn their pain points, then write code to solve them.
Operationalize AI: Turn manual CX processes into scalable software tools.
What You’ll Bring:
3+ Years Engineering Experience
1+ Years AI Engineering: Experience building with LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks
Full-stack Proficiency: Able to build, deploy, and scale full-stack automations.
Automation Obsession: You hate doing the same thing twice. You script, automate, and build your way out of manual work.
Customer Empathy: You can translate a frustrated customer's complaint into a precise technical solution.
Location: In-person in Austin, TX.
Who You’ll Work With:
CX Team: To identify the manual workflows that need automating.
Core Engineering: To access the data and APIs needed to power your agents.
Tech Stack: Python, Type Script, LLMs (OpenAI/Anthropic), Vector DBs, Retool/Internal Tooling, GCP.
Compensation: $180,000 - $250,000 + Equity Grant
Base Salary: $140,000 - $180,000
Bonus: $30,000 - $60,000
Equity: 0.15% - 0.3% with 4-year vesting
