Overview

The Sr. Performance Marketing Manager;
Programmatic will be responsible for all aspects of both in‑house and agency‑executed Programmatic campaigns. You will plan and execute Programmatic media campaigns across multiple platforms, develop media strategy, creative briefs, and a testing calendar using data‑based insights that drive qualified traffic, leads, conversions, and revenue. You will own all aspects of your campaigns, including martech, reporting insights, and QA, and serve as a subject‑matter expert for Programmatic.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute paid acquisition campaigns across all Programmatic (Display, Video, etc.) platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Trade Desk) with accountability for CAC & ROI goals
  • Execute a mix of in‑house and agency‑led campaigns
  • Manage agency‑led Direct IO initiatives
  • Build, monitor, and report on all relevant KPIs (sessions, engagement, conversions, revenue, CPT, ROAS) using data‑driven insights to optimize campaigns and provide strategic recommendations
  • Prioritize and execute continuous tests across various categories (audience, creatives, partner) to gather insights and drive business results
  • Drive initiatives with meaningful business impact in collaboration with cross‑functional teams (Creative, Data Science, Product Marketing, Dev, other Growth Marketing teams)
  • Regularly update reporting templates, conduct performance analyses across campaign, tactic, inventory, audience, and ad dimensions, and report actionable insights
  • Ensure campaigns align with overall marketing objectives and are set for successful execution (tagging, creative briefs, measurement, etc.)
  • Ensure successful measurement to build a clear view of best‑performing campaigns and test attribution to understand marketing’s overall impact on customer growth
  • Work on cross‑functional priorities, proactively leveraging peers and partners to solve complex problems
  • Proactively and independently drive day‑to‑day deliverables and more complex projects, communicating proactively with stakeholders to meet deadlines
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices across all marketing channels
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Occasional travel may be required as needed

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in Programmatic Performance Marketing
  • Recent hands‑on experience with Google Ads for Display and You Tube and Trade Desk; experience on other DSPs and paid‑social platforms (Meta, Reddit, Tik Tok, Linked In) is preferred
  • Subject‑matter expertise and strong understanding of programmatic platforms, strategy, performance creatives, media, and advertising landscape
  • Experience driving the technical aspects of media buying (trafficking workflows, data and API integrations, tagging, platform nuances)
  • Understanding of multi‑channel attribution;
    Google Analytics experience preferred, experience partnering with analytics teams to unlock MTA and MMM solutions preferred
  • Critical to success: bias for action, excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills (advanced Excel required), ability to work independently and manage priorities, strong communication, collaboration, and QA skills

Compensation & Benefits

Legal Zoom is a remote‑first company and the national range for this role is $104,600 to $167,400. Actual compensation offered will depend on geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs.
