Job Description:

The Platform Integration Engineer is responsible for bring-up, installation, and triage of a variety of server platforms and peripherals. They will be required to perform testing using the platforms on a variety of peripherals including existing endpoint solutions and prototypes. They will be required to develop on or deploy different test environments and capabilities on the platforms. They will develop and integrate tests.

They will also need to be able to design and execute experiments to triage issues. They will work across design, test, and validations organizations as well as external vendors. Other work items include;
Analysis and correlation of data across product operating ranges, development of code/scripts to conduct and control experiments, oversight of experiment execution, and debug of observed issues.

Minimum qualifications:

2-4 Years experience with any one or more of the following programming language: C, C++, Java, Python

Familiarity with shell scripting

Knowledge of Data center Servers. Storage solutions, and Peripherals

Hands-on Knowledge of Linux (installation, configuration and usage, distros)

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with CentOS and Ubuntu

Familiarity with debugging via JTAG interface

Experience with software development patterns like continuous integration, REST, and job scheduling

Experience with embedded C or C++ programming

Ability to use oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

Experience with SOC architecture, design , verification, or validation

Education:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Other technical degrees may be considered if the candidate has directly applicable knowledge from prior work experiences.
