Theidealcandidatewilldemonstrateexpertiseindesignstrategy,usability research,andcross-functionalcollaborationtohelpbuilddigitaltoolsthatdrivemeaningfuloutcomesforusersacrossdiversestakeholdergroups.

Key Responsibilities

• LeadUX/UIeffortsacrossdigitalplatforms,ensuringconsistencywithenterprise-widedesignstandardsandbestpractices.
• Translateuserresearchintoactionabledeliverablesincludinguserflows,wireframes,prototypes,andjourneymaps.
• Conductusabilitytestinganduseroutreachtovalidatedesigneffectivenessandinformiterations.
• Collaboratewithcross-functional teams,including developers,product managers,andbusinessstakeholders,toaligndesignsolutionswithtechnicalfeasibilityandbusinessgoals.
• Providestrategicguidanceanddesignrationaletoleadershipandproductteams.
• Ensuresolutionsmeetaccessibility,usability,andvisualdesignstandards.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8years
  ofexperiencedesigningwireframesormockupsalignedwith
  
  UXbestpractices.
• 4years
  ofexperienceleadinglarge-scale
  
  UX/UIinitiatives.
• 4years
  usingdesigntoolssuchas
  Figma
  (or comparable).
• 3years
  workingonaccessibility-compliant design,adheringtofederalaccessibilitystandards(e.g.,Section
  508/WCAG).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using
  Atlassian Jira
  forworkfloworissuetracking.
• Experiencesupportingorworkingwithinapublicsector,education-focused,ormission-driven organization.
