Job Description

Job Summary:

Leads the design and execution of declarative development on the Salesforce platform. Build Salesforce-based applications designed to inspire while facilitating the needs of end users.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of end users and design experiences that meet their needs while exceeding their expectations.
  • Push Lightning pages to their limits, collaborating with architects, developers, and administrators to achieve an exceptional user experience.
  • Provide expertise on Salesforce security, ensuring profiles, roles, permission sets, etc., are all kept up-to-date and within compliance.
  • Build efficient Salesforce flows to accomplish discrete functions, as well as invokable flows to facilitate larger development efforts.
  • Map data and provide integration design support.
  • Provide technical support and tie in automation across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, various studio products, and Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Work with business stakeholders to question, understand, document, and re-design business processes.
  • Translate business process flows into Salesforce technical design in collaboration with Salesforce and enterprise architects.
  • Design and execute functional tests ensuring usability and delightability of functionality before it makes it into the hands of the end user.
  • Write technical and functional documentation.
  • Contribute to the standards in our Salesforce center of excellence.
  • Learn new/enhanced features and grow your Salesforce expertise.
Complexity of Work
  • The role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
  • Collaboration with multiple cross-functional team members and stakeholders, which requires excellent communication skills.

Skills and Requirements

Top 5 Skills:

  • Salesforce flows and Subflows Expertise required.
  • Strong soft skills for team collaboration.
  • General Salesforce configuration and administration.
  • Data experience, including working with data from multiple systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce Apex coding (preferred).
  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce administrator/ Developer.
    • Salesforce Administrator certified or equivalent experience.
    • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
    • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to configure custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of expert complexity.
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
    • A demonstrated ability to understand, articulate, and question complex requirements.
    • Experience in a Healthcare setting is preferred.
    • Previous experience working in an SCRUM or agile environment is preferred.
