QA Automation Engineer

The QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and execute automated tests to support software quality across systems and integrations.

This role involves creating automated test scripts, prioritizing test scenarios, defining execution strategies, and developing documentation for automated processes.

The engineer will work independently, leveraging extensive experience to plan, accomplish goals, and manage complex testing tasks with creativity and technical judgment.

• Design and develop automated test scripts to support functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Create test execution plans, determine scenario priorities, and implement automated testing strategies.
• Develop and maintain documentation for automated processes and testing standards.
• Independently perform manual and automated testing tasks across complex systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, track issues, and ensure quality across releases.
• Utilize defect management and test management tools to support test execution and reporting.
• Apply judgment and expertise to troubleshoot automation issues and optimize test frameworks.

• 8+ years of experience in QA and test automation, with the ability to independently manage complex testing tasks.
• Strong experience designing automated tests and writing automation scripts using Selenium with Java or similar tools.
• Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar platforms.
• Experience using test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or Test Rail.
• Ability to apply judgment, creativity, and autonomy in planning and executing test activities.

• 8 years of manual testing experience (e.g., system testing, system integration testing, UAT).
• Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and other testing documentation.
• Experience with automation strategy design and framework enhancements.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
