Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with hands‑on expertise in Amazon Bedrock, Agent Core, and Dev Ops practices to design, build, and scale secure cloud‑native and GenAI‑enabled solutions for a financial services client. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AWS services, cloud security, automation, and CI/CD, along with experience designing solutions in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities Cloud Architecture & Design- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures aligned with financial industry standards.
- Lead cloud solution design using the AWS Well‑Architected Framework (Security, Reliability, Performance, Cost Optimization).
- Define architecture patterns for microservices, event‑driven, and serverless applications.
- Architect and implement generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock.
- Design and integrate Agent Core‑based intelligent agents for business workflows, automation, and decision support.
- Collaborate with data science and application teams to operationalize LLM‑based solutions securely.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, or CDK.
- Enable automated monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, and AWS Config.
- Ensure adherence to financial industry compliance standards (e.g., PCI‑DSS, SOC2, ISO, data privacy).
- Architect solutions with IAM, KMS, VPC, encryption, and network security best practices.
- Perform risk assessments and support audits and governance initiatives.
- Act as a technical leader and advisor to engineering and business stakeholders.
- Mentor development and Dev Ops teams on AWS best practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical decision‑making.
Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills
- 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in AWS cloud architecture.
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- Amazon Bedrock
- Agent Core / AI agent frameworks
- Core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Dynamo
DB, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS/ECS - Dev Ops expertise: CI/CD pipelines, Terraform / Cloud Formation / CDK, Docker & Kubernetes, strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience working with financial services or banking clients.
- Understanding of regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, agile environments.
- AWS Certifications (one or more):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer
- AWS Machine Learning Specialty
- Experience with GenAI governance, prompt engineering, and LLM security.
- Prior experience in hybrid cloud or multi‑account AWS environments.
