Akkodis is seeking a senior technical writer for a contract with a client in Austin, TX. You will be responsible for creating clear, accurate technical documentation for developer workflows and product features.

$50/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, organize, and write technical content such as user manuals, onboarding guides, system architecture overviews, and FAQs for internal developer audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, QA) to gather source material and define documentation requirements.
• Translate complex technical workflows into clear, digestible content tailored for developers and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation templates and style guides to ensure consistency across all deliverables.
• Review and update documentation regularly based on product updates and user feedback to maintain accuracy and relevance.
• Drive content strategies to improve onboarding efficiency and user enablement, ensuring alignment with product development timelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of Jan content
• Provenارہistic experience, preferably in a product-based or SaaS environment.
• Proven ability to create clear, accurate onboarding documentation and user guides for technical and developer audiences.
• Strong proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Notion) and ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into simple, digestible content.
