As a Senior Technical Writer at Apex Fintech Solutions, you’ll develop technical documentation to support the Apex API and the platform, and create content for developer audiences. You’ll work in two‑week sprints, collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders, mentoring junior writers, and ensuring high‑standard, accurate, and user‑centered deliverables.

• Develop and maintain API and knowledge base content that meets industry standards, keeping pace with product development teams and adhering to style guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with product engineering, product management, integration teams, and other internal stakeholders to write API documentation and programming guides.
• Represent the Technical Content team in a positive light across the organization.
• Support Tech Content management in sprint planning and work‑balancing efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (English, technical communications, computer science, or a similar field)
• 7+ years of experience as a technical writer for a developer audience at a fast‑paced software company
• Proven experience writing detailed, user‑centered API and programming documentation
• Outstanding ability to grasp and communicate interrelationships between topics clearly and meaningfully, presenting information in a logical hierarchy
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple focus areas
• Enthusiasm for cross‑functional collaboration with people at all levels
• Courage to advocate for yourself and user needs
• Bias for action and a positive attitude with fine attention to detail
• Current knowledge of evolving technical documentation for developer audiences
• Ability to work in US time zones (ideally Central Standard Time)
• Experience with Markdown, Git Hub, Jira, Swagger
• Programming experience in Java, Go, Python, or Typescript
• Strong writing portfolio

• Advanced degree in a related discipline
• Programming experience
• Experience designing or documenting an enterprise API solution
• Experience with documentation portal or ticketing environments such as Readme or Zendesk

• Hybrid office environment, 3 days per week in the office
