Job Duties

  • Configure and maintain test hardware and infrastructure across server systems.
  • Ensure systems remain operational and up to date.
  • Replace processors and other hardware as needed.
  • Maintain hardware and validation infrastructure in a test‑ready state to support client roadmap schedules.
  • Operate with a strong sense of urgency, multitasking effectively in high‑pressure situations and meeting tight deadlines.
Experience & Education
  • 3+ years of PC validation experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows and Linux operating systems (installation, configuration, testing).
  • Strong proficiency with the Linux command line.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and regression troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities; capable of managing functional project issues.
  • Solid understanding of PC architecture and peripherals.
  • 4+ years of PC validation/testing experience with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with x86 PC architecture, including:
    • Memory
    • PC buses (PCI‑E, USB, SATA, Ethernet)
    • Processor and chipset subsystems
  • Preferred OS capabilities:
    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot MS Windows OS and Linux OS
  • Software expertise in x86 environments, including configuring and modifying BIOS settings, installing device drivers, and setting up applications.
  • PC hardware setup and configuration, including installation of processors, hard drives, network cards, and memory.
  • Preferred experience with multiprocessor platforms (e.g., workstations, servers).
  • Ability to read and follow detailed technical instructions.
  • Demonstrated team spirit, collaboration, and support of group decisions.
  • Strong written communication skills (email, issue submission, test documentation).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Quick learner, capable of mastering new concepts, applications, and operating systems in a short time.
