Role Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented QA Test Engineer to support Google Distributed Cloud Labs. This role is pivotal in validating the reliability, performance, and compatibility of networking and server infrastructure used to deploy Google Cloud workloads.
Key Responsibilities- Execute system-level and functionaltests to ensure hardware/software performance
- Collaborate on integrationtesting across infrastructure components
- Testand troubleshoot network configurations and serial console connections
- Develop and maintain automatedtestscripts
- Validate device compatibility across platforms
- Documenttestresults and resolutions clearly
- Work cross-functionally to investigate issues and support lab operations
- 10 years of QA testing experience, ideally in infrastructure/hardware environments
- Strong grasp of system, functional, and integrationtesting methodologies
- Experience with network protocols and testing tools
- Proficiency in automation frameworks and scripting (Python, Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Background in device-leveltesting and compatibility validation
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure or data center environments
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
