Job DescriptionDPS (Debit Processing Solutions) offers processing solutions to financial institutions, focusing on maximizing value in a constantly evolving payments environment. Our vision is to empower clients to innovate, enhance customer experience, and differentiate products by providing secure, robust, scalable, and reliable issuer processing solutions.
The Product Manager will develop new Visa DPS solutions, integrating innovative offerings into existing foundational platforms while understanding competitive and market landscapes. This role involves setting strategy, influencing road‑maps, collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders globally, and engaging external clients to deliver value‑driven, delightful experiences across the payments ecosystem. The ideal candidate is passionate about innovation, technology, and product management, detail‑oriented, and capable of driving results in a complex environment.
EssentialFunctions
The role supports strategic Visa DPS initiatives, playing a critical part across the product lifecycle—from discovery, ideation, and definition of new features to MVP launch and ongoing enhancements.
- Dedicated support for new Visa DPS Strategic Initiatives: immerse fully in discovery, ideation, and definition of product requirements from concept to launch.
- Cross‑functional collaboration: liaison between the VAS Product team and internal Visa teams, and collaboration with external partners to ensure integrated solutions.
- Requirement & backlog management: collaborate with DPS Value‑Added Services VAS Business Owner and Product Team to document, clarify, and prioritize backlog items supporting MVP launch and future enhancements.
- Global team coordination: engage stakeholders, clarify problem statements, write detailed business requirements, and manage dependencies and risks for globally distributed scrum teams, especially during non‑US hours.
- Strategic analysis & business case development: conduct deep market research and provide data‑driven insights for compelling business cases for new features and products.
- Innovation & impact analysis: participate in Visa’s innovation forums and perform impact analysis from an issuer processor perspective to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Product health & monitoring: provide essential support for adjacent work streams and address gaps in product monitoring capabilities.
This hybrid position will confirm office days with your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications- Five or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least two years of experience with an advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or no experience with a PhD.
- Six or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or four or more years with an advanced degree, or up to three years with a PhD.
- Experience documenting and prioritizing product requirements (e.g., writing user stories, maintaining a backlog).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at articulating complex business problems to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience in a Scaled Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Strong understanding of debit/credit card products, payment processing, and value‑added services.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams across time zones.
- Experience managing relationships with external partners and third‑party vendors.
- Self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership, capable of managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.
