At BAE Systems, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electronics Technician for our Test Sustainment team. The candidate must demonstrate strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and be able to work cross-functionally within the Operations organization and with other disciplines / functions.

The Test Sustainment team works with Test Engineers to correct issues with test equipment and have the responsibility to ensure test equipment is up and running. This position is first shift on a 9/80 work schedule This position may include the following activities:

* Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on test stations

* Certify test stations.

* Troubleshoot and repair test stations.

* Order parts needed to maintain equipment.

* Remove / replace calibrated equipment.

* Assist in Quality audits.

* Work with various functions to resolve issues and perform Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) activities. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
* 4 years of Electronics troubleshooting / repair

* Understanding and ability to use Oscilloscopes, DMM's, and other commercial electronic diagnosis equipment

* Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent (such as military training)

* Able to work with limited supervision Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
* Well-rounded understanding of metrology process
* IT understanding and experience

* J-STD-001 Training

* IPC-A-610 Training

* IPC-A-620 Training Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64723 - $103557

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
