INNOVIT USA INC is seeking a Business Analyst for the IHSS Automation project. The role reports directly to the PASRR Director and collaborates with IDD Services, PASRR program staff, Product Owner, sprint teams, and other stakeholders throughout the systems development life cycle.
Responsibilities- Analyze program policies and procedures to determine their effect on automated systems and system functional areas.
- Review and assess complex project deliverables such as project charters, user requirements, design documentation, test plans, and risk assessment plans to ensure business requirements are met.
- Act as liaison by providing consultation, documentation, and direction regarding analysis, design, configuration, testing, and policy implementation of the system.
- Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
- Identify and prioritize the product backlog to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Create test plans that accurately map back to the documented business requirements or user stories.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
- Track, document, and report status of testing.
- Identify potential project risks and difficulties, and design strategies to mitigate or avoid them.
- May develop training curriculum and conduct formal training sessions covering assigned systems module.
- Perform related work as assigned.
- 8+ years of experience in complex business analysis and technical documentation.
- 8+ years of experience reporting project status to management, including risks, issues, and key decisions.
- 8+ years of experience identifying project risks and developing/implementing mitigation strategies.
- 8+ years of experience in effective written and oral communication, documenting requirements, deliverables, test scenarios, and project status.
- 8+ years of experience using business analysis skills and interacting with business end users to gather, validate, and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- 8+ years of experience performing review and approval processes of complex technical user and system requirements written by vendors.
- 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products (Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint).
- 8+ years of experience coordinating and developing test plans/strategies, exit criteria, and test scenarios.
- 8+ years of experience executing detailed test cases within a complex software environment.
- 8+ years of experience using testing management software.
- 8+ years of experience utilizing Agile software development methodology.
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, approving and prioritizing user stories based on stakeholder feedback and subject matter expertise.
- 8+ years of experience with Medicaid management information systems and processes.
- 4+ years of preferred knowledge of Texas Medicaid Programs and PASRR.
- 2+ years of preferred experience with the Long-Term Care Online Portal application.
