Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and other cloud services.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity using Azure Monitor and related tools.
- Create and maintain automation scripts using Power Shell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep templates to streamline deployments and operations.
- Implement security controls, including identity and access management, NSGs, and policies to meet compliance standards.
- Manage Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
- Administer Azure Active Directory, group policies, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Provide Level 2/3 support for cloud-related issues, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- Work closely with Dev Ops, networking, and security teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud resources.
- Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Office/M365 User and Group administration with ability to/experience with:
- Modify/troubleshoot MS Teams settings
- Mailbox/message security (identify and export suspicious traffic and upload for analysis by security team)
- Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure and Administration of Windows 11 / 2019/2022 server OS InTune.
MUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN THE AUSTIN, TX, AREA
Requirements- 5+ years of Azure system administration
- Solid experience with Azure Monitor, automation scripts (e.g. Power Shell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep templates), Azure Active Directory, Office/M365 User and Group administration, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019/2022 OS In Tune
- Currently live in the Austin, TX, area
- Willing to work fully onsite, M-F
- Eligible to work directly with any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship at any time
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
