Windows AI Selfhost Tech

• Top 3 skills:
  Windows OS, hands on debug experience, AI knowledge (beneficial, but not mandatory if strong Windows OS and debug experience).
• Work with client laptops/desktops, hands‑on experience in DISM, WinPE, scripting, creating OS images, etc. Set up laboratory environments, configure BIOS/FW/driver updates, run test plans (video/audio/network/USB) and troubleshoot issues.
• Self‑host setup:
  Install device images on all self‑host devices (10‑150 units).
• Communicate/interface with Windows OS team to identify and retrieve early builds of Windows OS as a base.
• Communicate with platform software leads to identify drivers, BIOS and applications to include in device image.
• Use DISM and WinPE to create and manipulate custom OS images.
• Manage and extract the Windows Driver Store to migrate and install drivers.
• Generate basic scripts in Power Shell.
• Understand diskpart and storage device provisioning.
• Download and run Microsoft ADK for testing.
• Run AMD Suspend to test sleep, hibernate and reboot cycles.
• Run ad‑hoc testing to reproduce failure scenarios.
• Prepare devices for demos (special hardware configurations, software and test loads).
• Assist in troubleshooting, delivering and replacing test devices on AMD Austin campus.
• Assemble computers, power supplies, memory, processors and other components, and get device running.
• Read and follow CRB Guides to flash firmware to get CRBs working.
• Use dediprog to flash SPI components.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering would be nice but not required.
