People Soft ERP Developer – FSCM 9.2 (AR/Billing)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Contract: 12 months +

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented People Soft ERP Developer to join a critical public-sector initiative. This role will focus on the development, integration, and support of the FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules
, including the migration of legacy data and creation of new interfaces to and from third-party systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive People Soft development experience, strong technical documentation skills, and the ability to work effectively within a large, remote team environment. Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years experience working with People Soft FSCM 9.2, particularly Accounts Receivable and Billing.
- 8+ years hands-on development with People Tools:
People Code, Application Engine, Application Packages, SQR, COBOL. - 8+ years working with Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
- 8+ years developing and optimizing queries using SQL and PL/SQL on Oracle databases.
- 8+ years scripting in Linux OS environments.
- 8+ years working with Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
- Strong skills in technical documentation and translating business requirements into technical designs.
- Prior experience working with Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
- Experience with public sector systems (Federal, State, or Local Government) is highly desirable.
- Some prior knowledge of the State of Texas Comptroller’s CAPPS Financials system.
- Familiarity with the Treasury Offset Program (TOP).
- Experience with tools like SharePoint, Jira, and STAT.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to contribute and collaborate within large, remote teams.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and support People Soft ERP solutions, ensuring seamless integration across FSCM modules.
- Perform ETL procedures for converting data from legacy systems and build interfaces between People Soft and external systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop scalable solutions.
- Develop using People Tools technologies, including People Code, App Engine, and Application Packages.
- Utilize Integration Broker for data exchange using REST/SOAP web services.
- Write complex SQL/PLSQL scripts and procedures to support ERP functionality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
- Work within the SDLC framework and participate in all phases of project lifecycle.
- Support occasional off-hours work depending on project demands.
