Amazon is looking for a talented Vendor Manager (VM) responsible for managing vendor relationships and setting the strategic direction for their business across Amazon Grocery banners, including Amazon Fresh and other grocery channels.
The ideal candidate possesses experience in buying, marketing, and/or finance, with a track record of successful relationship management, strong analytical acumen and experience generating and managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills and understanding of Excel will be essential to your success. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will take ownership of projects and business problems to a successful result.

Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams, vendors, partners, and management. On a day to day basis, you will:
- Drive strategic negotiations with large vendors and represent Amazon when meeting with senior leaders
- Develop long-term strategies and significantly influence cross‑category plans
- Work cross‑functionally, both within Amazon and the strategic vendor, and implement scalable, simple and automated solutions to address customer pain points
- Create opportunities for growth, customer acquisition, and brand‑building for multiple sub‑categories
- Audit metrics regularly, determine and prioritize business opportunities, identify risks and make recommendations to pursue
- Identify industry trends and develop innovative marketing and merchandising initiatives to support growth
- 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
- Experience in process improvement
- Experience managing large amounts of data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
