The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking an experienced Advisory Cloud Architect to drive transformation initiatives in semiconductor manufacturing and foundry operations. This role will focus on designing and implementing advanced cloud solutions incorporating industrial data fabric, smart manufacturing, generative AI, and computer vision technologies. You’ll work closely with stakeholders as trusted advisors providing guidance on industry trends, enterprise cloud transformation, and innovative cloud solutions.
You will be responsible for sales support, ensuring alignment to customer business outcomes and value realization.
The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings that help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption.
We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.
- Design and architect comprehensive cloud solutions that integrate edge-to-cloud data fabric for semiconductor manufacturing environments
- Lead technical pre-sales engagements and solution development for digital twin implementations, industrial edge solutions, and manufacturing data insights platforms
- Develop reference architectures for AI/ML workflows in manufacturing, particularly focusing on computer vision for defect detection and classification
- Create technical solutions that integrate operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems across fab environments
- Guide customers in implementing smart manufacturing solutions leveraging AWS services for predictive maintenance, yield optimization, and quality control
- Design solutions for real-time data processing and analytics at the edge using AWS Outpost and related services

Cloud Strategy and Business Value Alignment (Enterprise Transformation), Cloud Operating Models & Governance, Cloud Migration Readiness and Planning, Organizational Change & Enablement, Data & AI Transformation, Supply Chain, Telco, Media, Gaming and Entertainment.
- 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
- Experience leading large enterprise transformations with AWS/cloud services
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture with demonstrated focus on manufacturing or industrial environments
- Extensive experience designing and implementing industrial data fabric solutions for OT and IT integration
- Proven experience with digital twin technologies and their practical application in production environments
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services including IoT Core, Green grass, Sage Maker, and related edge computing platforms
- Experience architecting solutions that process and analyze real-time data from industrial systems
- Background in semiconductor fabrication operations, including familiarity with fab equipment, clean room protocols, and manufacturing execution systems
- 3+ years working with industrial automation systems such as PLCs, SCADA, or DCS platforms
- Experience integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms
- Knowledge of CHIPS Act requirements and compliance frameworks for semiconductor manufacturing
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts including predictive maintenance, yield optimization, and quality control systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
