As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will be at the forefront of crafting innovative digital products across mobile, web, and desktop platforms. Your work will directly support independent financial advisors, enabling them to manage their businesses and their clients' financial lives with greater efficiency and insight. You'll navigate the exciting challenge of balancing functionality with complexity on a highly utilized platform, all while contributing to a vibrant, learning‑focused design team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design reviews and drive critical design decisions, ensuring a consistent and high-quality design process.
  • Collaborate with multi‑faceted teams to create compelling design solutions, visualizing ideas through sketches, diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes, accompanied by appropriate documentation.
  • Maintain the high standards of the design group by expertly conducting primary design activities, creating deliverables, and performing quality assurance.
  • Actively participate in and support user research efforts, translating insights into user‑centered designs.
  • Champion continuous improvement of design processes and methods, focusing on both effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Foster strong partnerships across the organization, providing support to fellow UX team members and strategically guiding feedback into actionable improvements.
  • Embrace an iterative design approach, demonstrating adaptability and an open mind when presented with new information.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of user needs, empathizing with their experiences to drive innovation and continuous improvement in design.
  • Stay abreast of the latest design theory, practice, and tools, fostering a culture of continuous learning and curiosity.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 11+ years of rich interaction design experience specifically focused on digital products.
  • A compelling online portfolio showcasing your interaction design process and thinking.
  • Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of a user‑centered interaction design process, including user research, developing user flows, creating wireframes, conducting usability tests, and crafting annotated design specifications.
  • Proven experience working effectively within a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team, utilizing an iterative process and Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong self‑management capabilities, comfortable with substantial responsibility, and adept at working directly with client partners to manage project schedules.
  • Proficiency in industry‑standard design tools such as Sketch, Invision, and Figma.
  • Experience in facilitating and running productive design sessions with cross‑functional teams.
  • Exceptional relationship‑building skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions and enterprise levels, working with diverse personality types.
  • A positive attitude, solid work ethic, and comfort thriving in a project‑oriented work environment.
Preferred Skills
  • 1+ year of interaction design experience specifically for touch‑based mobile interfaces.
