The Development Operations (Dev Ops) Assistant will assist with a wide array of tasks from setting up Server environments, monitoring production site uptime, generating reporting, and some light troubleshooting. We have a growing team and are looking for driven individuals who are looking to grow and expand their career and opportunities.

Salary: DOE / Competitive

• Coordinate and deploy software on Windows Server 2019 environments, learning web application deployment techniques into different environments.
• Direct software deployment to Azure cloud deployments and set up environments and settings to company standards.
• Monitor and maintain Windows updates across virtualized servers.
• Ensure ransomware prevention software and machine level firewall settings are set up for maximum protection.
• Perform light reporting tasks inside a Microsoft SQL environment integrated into Power BI; pull data from Azure Dev Ops to create management reports.
• Monitor notifications for site outages, report to Project Management and development teams, and standardize server reporting.
• Grow to debug and deploy software to clients' servers and handle internal development deployments.
• Over the next 12-18 months, include management of Active Directory users/groups, permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, and other Dev Ops tasks.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Server
• Familiarity with Active Directory
• Understanding of computer hardware
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to type at 60 WPM or better
• Troubleshooting experience
• Base understanding of SQL queries

• A+ Certification
• Network+ Certification
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with JavaScript or C based programming languages

• Associate or Trade School Degree in a technology related field
• Experience installing Microsoft Operating Systems
• Understanding of basic Boolean logic
• Experience communicating directly with the team and potentially clients
