Tableau Admin | Austin, TX (Onsite & F2F)

This contract position will last 6+ months and offers a competitive pay rate of $39.59 – $65.68 per hour. Candidates must bring 10+ years of Tableau experience, advanced SQL skills, and proven Tableau Server administration expertise.
Responsibilities- Administer Tableau Desktop and Server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize data extracts across large datasets.
- Perform security management, upgrades, automation, and monitoring of Tableau Server.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly in a fast‑paced setting.
- Translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
- 10+ years of experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau administration.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize performance for complex queries.
- Proven experience in Tableau Server administration (security, upgrades, automation, data extracts, monitoring).
- Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and business acumen.
