We’re hiring an Email Marketing & Web Operations Specialist to ensure exactly that.

The Email Marketing & Web Operations Specialist owns the day-to-day execution and maintenance of milk + honey’s email marketing program and website. This is a high-volume, execution-first role supporting a fast-moving email program with frequent sends across multiple platforms (typically 35–45 per month), alongside regular website updates tied to campaigns and seasonal initiatives. While this role is execution-first, it is also expected to observe patterns, question defaults, and surface thoughtful opportunities to improve how our email and web programs operate over time.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Email Marketing Planning and Execution
  • Build, QA, and send all guest-facing marketing emails across Klaviyo and additional customer-facing platforms (ecommerce or booking systems)
  • Execute approximately 35–45 emails per month, including:
  • Campaign sends
  • Operational updates
  • Membership communications
  • Capacity-driven messaging (e.g., appointment availability)
  • Build and maintain audience segments and targeting logic based on defined criteria
  • Configure, QA, and maintain automated flows across platforms
  • Own and maintain automated, trigger-based communications, including appointment confirmations, reminders, and booking-related messages
  • Own execution timelines and flag risks, conflicts, or issues early
  • Observe performance and operational patterns across email programs, and proactively surface questions or improvement ideas
Website Content Management
  • Own day-to-day website updates across Word Press, Shopify, and other CMS tools
  • Publish and maintain content for services, promotions, locations, and seasonal campaigns
  • QA pages, forms, pop-ups, and booking flows end-to-end
  • Coordinate with developers on larger technical changes or fixes
  • Maintain accuracy across booking and review platforms, including integrations and third-party listings (e.g., Google Business Profile, Yelp, Reputation Pro, Listen

  • Maintain regular updates and publishing schedule of our blog
Digital Marketing Reporting & Optimization Support
  • Pull recurring performance and site health reports for email and web
  • Identify trends or outlying behaviors, and surface issues, anomalies, and risks
  • Support CRO and UX initiatives through clean execution, testing, and QA
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities while clearly communicating execution tradeoffs, timelines, and impacts

Requirements
  • 3–4 years of experience in email and/or website content management
  • Comfortable executing marketing programs across multiple customer-facing platforms concurrently
  • Proven experience executing high-volume email programs
  • Strong experience building segments and automated flows in at least one major email or CRM platform
  • Able to learn unfamiliar platforms and tools quickly
