Technology Architect – SOA Testing role focusing on automation testing, service-oriented architectures, and test strategy within a global delivery environment.

• Define and document test cases based on user stories
• Perform SOA testing and web service test automation using tools such as Parasoft SOATest
• Execute service, end-to-end, and regression testing of SOA-based application landscapes
• Leverage Service Virtualization using Parasoft Virtualize (preferred)
• Contribute to test strategy and test design (4+ years)
• Work with automation engineers to design frameworks and automation solutions
• Mentor onsite-offshore team members
• Apply white-box test techniques and ensure code coverage concepts and reporting
• Utilize test data management tools (Quality Center, ALM, Jira) and produce clear test statistics
• Collaborate with interfacing organizations to deliver projects on time
• Operate with high energy, strong communication, and analytical skills in a Global delivery environment

Basic:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Preferred:
At least 7 years of in-depth experience in automation testing; experience in SOA testing and web service test automation; service virtualization experience; 4+ years in test strategy/design; 4+ years in one or more scripting languages or automation tools (e.g., Java scripting, Unix shell); strong communication and leadership abilities; knowledge of white-box testing and code coverage; experience with test data management tools;

ability to work in a Global delivery environment.
