Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist for data-driven problem-solving. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Tableau, as well as platforms like Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing raw data, translating it into meaningful KPIs and generating actionable insights. The individual will work closely with a data engineer and data scientist to create actionable insights to optimize inventory across the network.

Prior experience working on supply chain analytics is a plus.

Job Responsibilities: (2 + years of Data Science Experience)
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Design interactive dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate insights.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and product managers.
  • Utilize Python, R, and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and solution development.
  • Continuously explore and apply new analytical techniques to enhance business outcomes.
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain Management analytics is a plus
REQUIRED skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of curiosity, proactiveness, and a self-starter
  • Passion for data-driven decision-making and a desire to learn.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and machine learning.
  • Experience with Snowflake, including data extraction, analytics, and reporting.
  • Understanding statistical modeling and data visualization.
