Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Devops Engineer with more than 3+ years of experience who will work on design, development, automation, and maintenance of infrastructure using Dev Ops principles and CI/CD. You will contribute into development, build, deployment, install and maintenance of automation written in Python and create new ones.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure the production environment is reliable and operating in accordance with established procedures and best practices

* Setup and automate development, testing, staging, and production systems for new services

* Plan and automate software deployments and service upgrades

* Recommend new infrastructure deployments and changes

* Plan upgrades, maintenances and outages for various systems

* Manage multiple simultaneous projects and Collaborate with multiple teams

* Administer systems and software to help generate projections for future scaling needs

Required Experience:

* Bachelors with 3+ years in Computer Science or electrical engineering or computer engineering or related technical discipline

* Advanced proficiency writing and debugging in multiple scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, Powershell, etc.)

* Knowledge of JSON, YAML, XML files and usage of these into automation

* Experience working with automation tools (i.e. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

* Experience working with CI/CD pipeline tools (i.e. Jenkins)

* Experience managing source control management software (Git, Git Lab, Git Hub, etc)

* Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or similar virtual container applications

* Knowledge of administering and deployment of VMs and servers, and network diagnostic procedures, and best practices

* Experience with Linux and Windows OS (system and services knowledge) and experience with DNS/DHCP, AD/LDAP

* Experience with Unix/Linux shell, understands Linux internals, command line system administration such as Bash, SSH, curls etc.

* Able to troubleshoot complicated, cross platform issues handling OS, Networking, Database

* Debug/troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues

* Possess ability to deliver high-quality work quickly, both individually and in a team environment

* Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting skills, and a desire to take on responsibility and ownership of issues

Nice to Have:

* Knowledge of REST API design and development using python or NodeJS framework

* Experience in web development using JavaScript, html5 and CSS

* Linux and Windows application-level SW development

* Knowledge of and PBS, LSF and dashboard visualization tools such as Grafana
