Job Overview
The mission of the Central Technology ML (CTML) team is to pioneer and implement the technology roadmap that paves the way for the future of machine learning computing on Arm architecture. We believe that innovative ML technology necessitates joint development across hardware, software, and ML algorithms. The role is part of the CTML Content and Algorithm team, part of the Center of Excellence for Machine Learning.
The candidate will conduct in‑depth analyses of complex neural networks on ARM computing platforms and devise algorithms to elevate Arm to the forefront of future technology.
- Develop an in‑depth understanding of current and future ML workloads on ARM compute platforms with a focus on their PPA (performance, power, and area).
- Architecture exploration requiring joint development of hardware, software, and algorithms. The role serves as the ML Algorithm expert, including algorithm innovation and prototyping to drive and validate architectural features.
- Develop hardware‑aware optimization algorithms that run state‑of‑the‑art networks on ARM platforms, including CPU, GPU, and NPUs.
- 3+ years working in an ML Algorithm Development and/or Optimization environment.
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Proficient in computer architecture with basic knowledge of hardware and software design.
- Experience developing and working with large software systems in programming languages such as Python.
- Knowledge of deep learning libraries such as Tensor Flow and PyTorch.
- Experience training large deep learning models on powerful GPU‑based systems.
- ML model optimization techniques targeted for resource‑constrained ARM edge compute platforms.

Salary RangeSalary Range: $241,100 – $326,100 per year.
