General NotesThis is a grant‑funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
PurposeThis position will assist the Salesforce Administrator with the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of a Salesforce environment for the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium, a network of health‑related institutions tasked with providing mental health care, consultation, professional development, workforce development, and research for Texas children and families.
Responsibilities- Manage user access and security. Respond to users experiencing access‑related challenges.
- Conduct system testing and track issues through resolution. Serve as primary point of contact for Salesforce‑related activities, including but not limited to user management, security settings, data integrity, and overall system maintenance.
- Upload data files from external systems on a regular basis to ensure accurate engagement information within the CRM. Coordinate closely with evaluators to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Assist with or lead Salesforce training for end users and partners. Contribute to documentation resources, including but not limited to manuals and user guides.
- Create and maintain custom objects and fields including email templates, validation rules, list views, page layouts, flags, and declarative solutions such as flows and email alerts.
- Systems administration training and experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in Salesforce.
- Ability to learn university systems.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in systems administration.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Values the contributions of others in the work environment.
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
- Bachelor's Degree with multiple years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator/Analyst.
- In‑depth knowledge of Salesforce features, objects, standard functionality, security architecture, and platform best practices.
- Ability to configure and customize Salesforce using point‑and‑click tools.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security settings, user management, and data access controls.
- Familiarity with Salesforce automation tools such as Flows.
- Experience with data management tasks and integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
$74,000–$78,000 (Prorated: $37,000–$39,000) – depending on qualifications
Working Conditions- May work around standard office conditions.
