Role And Responsibilities

As an Associate Experience Consultant at IBM Consulting, you will partner with clients to design and deliver exceptional, human-centered experiences that align seamlessly with business goals. You’ll help clients understand leading technologies and the impact they can have on traditional business processes, as well as an opportunity to build a powerful portfolio of interesting and rewarding experiences. As a practitioner, you’ll work with your team shaping experience visions, building frameworks, and guiding execution to create measurable impact in customer satisfaction, loyalty, and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to deeply understand business objectives, user needs, market context, and target audiences
• Assessing and leveraging technology platforms, capabilities, and constraints to inform experience strategies
• Translating insights into actionable user experience strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps that drive measurable outcomes
• Providing guidance throughout the design and delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and user objectives
• Championing customer‑centricity by creating cohesive, engaging, and scalable experiences that satisfy customers, enhance brand perception, and foster loyalty

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Demonstrated expertise in user experience (UX) strategy, human-centered design, and customer journey mapping
• Ability to synthesize complex business and user requirements and pain points into actionable, innovative solutions
• Experience aligning appropriate technology capabilities with experience design to deliver effective and sustainable solutions
• Strong communication and facilitation skills to align diverse stakeholders and drive consensus

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and platforms (e.g., AI, automation, cloud, omnichannel) that influence modern user experiences
