ResponsibilitiesAs an IT Support Technician you will install, maintain, test, and repair systems and networks, providing technical support to local and remote employees. This in‑person role is located in our corporate office in Austin, TX.
How You Can Make An Impact- Perform routine technical systems support, maintenance, and testing to keep systems running smoothly.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts.
- Collaborate with employees, including the executive team, to resolve IT issues.
- Coordinate with Human Resources and Accounting/Finance to ensure new hires are equipped and set up on their first day.
- Track inventory levels of equipment and materials.
- Document SOPs, procedures, policies, and SOC‑related documents.
- Set up and maintain computers, workstations, and other hardware and devices.
- Stay current on technology, applicable laws, regulations, standards, and systems.
- Provide telephone, email, and remote IT support triage.
- Manage the Service Desk Ticket System, prioritizing and scheduling resolutions.
- Carry out proactive equipment maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Conduct daily floor surveys to identify support needs.
- Communicate with satellite sites to assess support requirements.
- Minimum of two years of IT‑related experience.
- Outstanding customer service skills, patience, and professionalism.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with Windows Desktop & Server, MS 365, laptops, docking stations, servers, firewalls, VPNs, wireless, multi‑display setups, switches, etc.
- Experience working with external vendors such as MSPs, Internet providers, equipment vendors.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to lift or move equipment up to 50 lbs.
