About the Role:
We are seeking versatile operators to support Base’s most important partnerships, such as our partnership with a leading home builder. Partnerships have introduced thousands of homeowners to Base and continue to scale rapidly each week. As part of our Business Operations team, you will lead various account management, program management, and partner integration initiatives that span Base’s business, including commercial, hardware, software, brand, marketing, sales, and deployments capabilities.
You will build, automate, and maintain the systems and processes that enable us to deliver through these strategic partnerships. On any given day you may meet with partners, build software tools to integrate with partner data sharing, automate repetitive processes, or analyze our customer pipeline to uncover opportunities to reach the partnership’s full potential.
- Build and optimize tools, automations, and processes that support a high rate of growth through partnerships.
- Design and stand up operations for new partnerships as we go from 0 to 1 on new channels or opportunities.
- Lead ongoing and one-time analyses to improve partnership operations, pursue growth opportunities, and overcome obstacles.
- Support standing up new partnerships through field visits, trainings, and tailoring our offering for onboarding different partners.
- Fill functional gaps across sales, marketing, deployment operations, and software as needed to support our partners and build out new business operations.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset for solving ambiguous problems.
- Comfort with modern tech tools (e.g., SQL, Retool, dashboards, CRMs).
- Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate across multiple teams and partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Commercial instincts to guide win-win decisions for Base and its partners.
- High ownership, can-do attitude (no job too big or too small).
