Job Title: Service Now Developer – Security Operations & IRM

Location: San Jose, CA / Austin, TX (Hybrid – Onsite 3 Days/Week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Service Now Developer/Administrator to support the design, development, and implementation of security and risk management workflows within Service Now. This role will focus on Security Operations (Sec Ops), Vulnerability Response, and Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC) while integrating Service Now with various security tools and platforms.

Responsibilities:

Administer, design, develop, and implement applications within Service Now.

Work closely with security teams to understand their needs and create automated workflows in Service Now.

Develop and deploy UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.

Integrate Service Now with external tools such as Slack, BMC Remedy, Splunk, Qualys, Active Directory, JIRA, and SSO.

Develop and manage Service Catalogs for security-related requirements.

Provide advanced troubleshooting, bug fixes, and root cause analysis for Service Now-related issues.

Conduct unit testing, functional testing, and follow SDLC best practices before deploying updates.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 10+ years of development experience OR Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Service Now Developer/Administrator.

Expertise in Service Now IRM/GRC, Security Operations, and Vulnerability Response.

Proven experience implementing Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response in Service Now.

Strong experience integrating Service Now with various security tools and enterprise applications.

Active participation in the Service Now Community (please provide profile link if available).

Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on time and adapt to new technologies.
