Associate Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Austin, TX
Job Type: Full Time
Our client is looking for an Associate HR Business Partner to join our team and support key HR initiatives that drive engagement, compliance, and business success.
What You’ll Do- Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, assist with investigations, and help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Partner with recruitment teams to hire for critical roles, coordinate onboarding programs, and support retention strategies through regular check‑ins.
- Performance & Development: Guide leaders through performance reviews, coach on effective feedback conversations, and track training initiatives.
- Compensation & Benefits: Provide guidance on pay practices and benefits, assist with annual merit cycles, and support market data reviews.
- Compliance & HR Operations: Ensure compliance with employment laws, maintain HRIS data integrity, prepare HR metrics, and streamline HR processes.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with HR leadership and site management on workforce planning, labor relations, and continuous improvement projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employment law, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑shift environment.
- HR certification (PHR or SHRM‑CP).
- Experience in union or labor relations.
