Location: Austin, Texas (onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay: $30/hour
Type: Consultant 6 months

Key Responsibilities Employee Support & Daily Operations
  • Inquiry Management: Serve as a frontline contact for employee questions, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses. Use case management tools to track and resolve inquiries, escalate complex matters, and contribute content for internal knowledge articles.
  • Employee Lifecycle Coordination: Support onboarding, offboarding, and other HR lifecycle workflows, including background checks, document collection, Workday transactions, I‑9 processing, and coordination with cross‑functional teams and external partners.

    Experience:

    Deliver thoughtful and consistent support at each stage of the employee journey. Use trends from inquiry data to identify recurring issues and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Policy & Compliance: Adhere to established HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards to ensure accuracy and consistency across operations.
  • HR Communication: Assist in developing clear, user‑friendly communications such as guides, job aids, training materials, and other resources that promote strong HR messaging.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and support initiatives focused on increasing efficiency and improving the overall employee experience.
HR Systems & Technology
  • Gain hands‑on exposure to tools such as Workday, Service Now, Responsive, Articulate
    , and other HR platforms.
  • Support system updates, routine audits, testing, data validation, and other operational system tasks.
  • Offer ideas and feedback that leverage technology to optimize HR operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in HR operations, HR shared services, customer support, communications, or employee lifecycle processes (internships count).
  • Interest in learning HR technology; familiarity with tools such as Workday, Service Now, Canva, or Articulate is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support employees at all levels with professionalism and empathy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow‑through.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, curiosity, and eagerness to grow professionally.
  • Collaborative mindset, proactive attitude, and openness to feedback.
