Recruitment Consultant (360) – Trainee / Associate Level
Onsite - Austin, Texas
Our US business launched in Austin in 2025.
In our first year, we exceeded our goals and built strong partnerships across deep-tech market.
The next phase is growth, and that means investing in people.
We re looking for someone that has a the qualities and competencies to stand out in this crowded space. Someone that is open to being developed, not through online modules or generic playbooks, but through in-person training, daily coaching, and real responsibility.
The roleYou’ll join our Austin office as employee number 4. You ll be trained in person on how to run a full 360 recruitment desk in specialist deep-tech markets. From day one, you’ll sit alongside experienced recruiters, learn by doing, and be coached through every stage of the process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Learning how to develop and manage client relationships across semiconductors, AI, software, quantum and photonics
- Building and maintaining a high-quality network of specialist candidates across the US
- Running end-to-end recruitment processes with close, hands-on support
- Developing strong commercial, negotiation, and market-mapping skills
- Contributing directly to the growth of IC Resources’ US presence
This is a heavily supported, in-person training role. You will receive:
- Daily desk-side coaching and feedback in our Austin office
- Structured training on candidate sourcing, client development, and deal execution
- Live call coaching and shadowing with experienced consultants
- Ongoing development as you progress from trainee to fully autonomous consultant

What we re looking for- Early-career experience in recruitment, sales, or a commercial environment, or a strong desire to move into it
- High work ethic and willingness to put in the time required to build a market
- Coachability and openness to feedback
- Confidence communicating with senior engineers, founders, and executives
- Curiosity about advanced technology and complex industries
- This is not a remote or passive role.
