Overview
High-Volume Candidate Processing Specialist (Contract Recruiting) – Onsite, North Austin. Our client is seeking a high-volume candidate processing specialist to manage and move large numbers of candidates through an established hiring process. This role is not a sourcing or traditional recruiting position. Success in this role is driven by speed, accuracy, organization, and the ability to work efficiently within an applicant tracking system (ATS).
Key Responsibilities- Process and manage a high volume of inbound candidates through defined hiring stages
- Review candidate information, applications, and data for completeness and alignment with basic requirements
- Conduct high-volume screening activities (data review, compensation alignment, eligibility checks, next-step readiness)
- Move candidates through the ATS quickly and accurately, ensuring proper status updates and documentation
- Communicate next steps, process updates, and offer-related information to candidates as needed
- Ensure candidates progress smoothly through internal systems and workflows
- Maintain accuracy and consistency while working under tight timelines and volume-driven goals
- Proven experience working in high-volume, process-driven environments (recruiting operations, HR operations, onboarding, admissions processing, customer operations, data processing, or similar)
- Strong experience using ATS, CRM, or workflow tracking systems
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks at scale while maintaining attention to detail
- Comfortable handling candidate data, compensation details, and process compliance
- Highly organized, efficient, and able to meet daily throughput targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Background in recruiting coordination, HR operations, or talent operations
- Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale hiring initiatives
- No sourcing or candidate search required
- No job marketing or outreach responsibilities
- No need for deep role-specific recruiting expertise
